I love visiting the city. Every time I go I take so many pictures that I just fall in love with. I hope one day I put together a book of all of my favorite Chicago images.
Went to The Melting Pot for the first time last night to celebrate my friend Melissa’s birthday. I had heard it was good from a few different people but I had no idea it was going to be as good as it was. It is truly an experience and while not cheap it was well worth it for all the food and ambiance we got to experience.

Ive been reading Annie Liebovitz book of photographs from the 90s through the 2000s and in there she writes about how her favorite thing to do was location scouting because she got to find all these perfect spots without having to actually take a picture. I read that and it immediately stuck with me because quite often I feel the same way. I love finding kick ass places to shoot. I love finding a spot and trying to find the photograph if you will. I know I often struggle with placing myself in the photo but finding that interesting spot to share with the rest of the world Im usually pretty good at it…
